Dr. Abdullahi Ali, a Somali-American politician, businessman, philanthropist, and presidential candidate for the Jubaland State of Somalia, has congratulated the people of Jubaland, Somalia, and Muslims around the world as they begin the Holy Month of Ramadhan.
Dr. Ali extended his heartfelt wishes to Somali families at home and in the diaspora, describing the sacred month as a time for reflection, unity, compassion, and renewed commitment to peace and nation-building.
“On behalf of my family and supporters, I extend my warmest Ramadhan greetings to the people of Jubaland and all Muslim faithful. May this blessed month strengthen our faith, deepen our sense of solidarity, and inspire us to work together for peace, stability, and prosperity in our nation,” said Dr. Ali.
He emphasized that Ramadhan presents an opportunity for leaders and citizens alike to embrace the values of patience, sacrifice, honesty, and service to humanity.
He called on communities across Somalia to pray for lasting security, economic progress, and inclusive governance.
Dr. Ali also encouraged families to support the vulnerable, assist those in need, and promote reconciliation and harmony during the holy month.“
As we fast and pray, let us remember the less fortunate, extend a helping hand to our neighbors, and renew our collective commitment to building a stronger and more united Somalia,” he added.
Dr. Ali wished the people of Jubaland and the wider Somali community a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling Ramadhan.
